Limitations
What to know before integrating
- The initial model is for product lots and batches, not arbitrary serialized items.
- Customer-supplied origin and participant information is not automatically verified; customer assertions, document-supported information, and external verification are distinct.
- Completeness is measured against configured requirements; it does not certify provenance, legal or regulatory compliance, or supply-chain authenticity.
- TracePassport does not issue regulatory certification, make a business compliant, require blockchain, or generate provenance facts with AI.
- Private evidence is not public by default; sharing depends on an explicit, controlled public projection.
